SUNNY SIDE UP

“Some painters transform the sun into a yellow spot; others transform a yellow spot into the sun.”

Pablo Picasso

Bold and vibrant, soft and mellow, yellow reminds me of warm summer days and seems to hit the right note with this cold, blah January weather. Wishing you a warm and wonderful weekend, sunnyside up!

  4. Wow! that color always make me think of Spring. Maybe it's because I associate daffodils with Spring, and some of the colors you show are similar. Citrus yellow is such a refreshing color.

  8. Yellow really does make you feel quite happy, don't you think, I haven't ever used yellow (except when I was a teenager and my mom did my room in a popular violet and yellow print everywhere) but must say it does uplift the spirit! I like touches, like a giant bowl of lemons or a big vase of yellow sunflowers or daffodils just to add a pop!
