SHADY BUSINESS


One of the easiest ways to transform a room is through accessories.  Pop a few bright pillows on a boring sofa and you breath life into a room.  Lampshades can be used as a chic designer tool too. Take the ubiquitous white gourd lamp and change off the shade--maybe a bold zig zag or stylish bamboo motif and your lamp suddenly turns into a designer accessory.  I'm loving the lampshade line from Shades of Light shown here-stylish custom looks in beautiful prints as well as a great line of monogrammed shades for a truly personalized look. I'm using the bright yellow gourd lamp with a grey and white geometric print shade for a teen's bedroom-so chic!

    Lovely, lovely! What a fun way to add a little pop of fun color to a room. Of course my favorite pillows and lampshades are from Pam at Red Ticking. Can't get enough!
