STILL LIFES-MONDAY MORNING ZEN

Looking at the hectic week I have ahead of me, I thought I'd share a little nature inspired Zen in the form of a series of beautiful still life prints from the photographer Christine Rodin. Surreal and dreamy, Rodin captures her black and white images with a Diana camera, a 1950's toy camera from China completely made of plastic. The imperfect lens produces a soft focus reminiscent of photographs found in the19th century. I love the vintage look of these silver gelatin prints-a little bit of bliss to start your week.
