You might expect Seville to be a bit hot in August, after all you're in southern Spain, but our four days averaged a sweltering 104 degrees. What's a girl to do? Throw on a swimsuit, tie on pareo and grab a table inside Taifis, Hotel Alfonso XIII uber chic pool bar and restaurant. Taifis was an oasis of cool--luxurious red leather chairs complimented the stylish black and white tile floors and the delicate Moorish inspired white fretwork walls brought a serenity to the room- the perfect antidote to the heat. After lunch, a swim in the luxurious courtyard pool had me refreshed and ready to learn the flaminco!

ReplyDeleteI love Seville and stayed at the Alphonso. Almost collapsed from the July heat while walking in the gardens. Sevilla is so full of unexpected surprises. i enjoyed so much spending the late nights in the flamenco bars. Beautiful images...
ReplyDeleteGreat post, I hear Seville is amazing! I came across your blog while I was looking online for Austin pool service to get my pool taken care of. Hopefully one day I can take a trip to Seville because it truly looks amazing. Thank you for sharing this with us.
