LATE AUGUST DINNER

Enjoy the last days of summer...with a blue and white themed dinner al fresco
Layer textures and bring color to your table with decorative vases, glass ware and accessories. Finish with a dash of color: bright yellow sunflowers!
Adding several sunflowers brighten faded end of summer hydrangea blooms.
I love a late summer dinner under the stars-remember to bring a cashmere sweater!
How are you spending the last days of summer?

  1. Inviting images! I'm spending the final days of summer having lunch with you one day, gathering with family and friends on others all while keeping up with work.

  3. I am wearing every piece of summer clothing I can eek out before they fade to the back of my closet. I am pouring over the pictures taken and pinning them up to ease us into the coming months. I am eating all the summer fruit I can. I am enjoying posts like this :)

  5. Just LOOK
    at those BLUE
    hydrangeas!
    Alas, I only
    have the white
    Annabelles that
    do well, here.
    I'll be the girl
    wearing her white
    pants for the last
    time this weekend
    and getting all of
    our ducks in a row
    for school to begin
    on Monday!

  7. How beautiful are those hydrangea bushes and your home. You'll have to let us see more sometime!

Well...I am celebrating by heading out your way on Sunday. So excited to sink my toes into that beautiful sand and have dinner at the Surf Lodge!

  10. As luck would have it, in the rain. We have waited all summer for rain to fall in AZ and finally it has. Splashing in puddles, going for long walks and enjoying the cooler weather will be on our agenda. Lovely images.
