 Artisanal bread, gourmet cheese sticks, chocolate parfaits: definitely not your average school bake sale fare. But this was not just any bake sale. Food Network star Sandra Lee, hosted a benefit for the Food Bank for New York City in Grand Central Terminal's historic Vanderbilt Hall this past Tuesday. 


The Hall was filled with amazing treats from New York hot spot's Del Posto and Gotham Bar and Grill as well as Magnolia's delicious cupcakes and Junior's cheesecake.  My favorite-the addictive cheese sticks from Murray's Cheese Store-definately worth the trip!  The event raised a total of $50,368.80 for the Food Bank-great cause, great cookies!

  1. Looking at this post while I am famished and have another hour to go until I meet a lunchdate was probably not a wise idea...far too many outrageously delicious looking yummies hear that are all my weakness! But what a wonderful cause...looks like it was a big success!
