It was an evening of philanthropy at its best on Saturday night as fans and friends stood elbow to elbow at the opening art exhibit for watercolorist James Grant at the Keszler Gallery in Southampton.  The romantic comedy star Hugh Grant was there to support his father and took lots of photos with adoring fans.  The gallery was filled with lovely seascapes depicting the coast of Brittany where the family spends their summer holiday.  A buying frenzy ensued during the three hour cocktail party resulting in nearly all the paintings being sold-I was lucky enough to buy a beautiful scene of the rocky English coast. Best of all, Mr. Grant generously donated all 87 watercolors to benefit the Southampton Fresh Air Home, a summer camp for children with physical disabilities in Southampton.  Bravo!
