PARK AVENUE POTLUCK CELEBRATIONS

It was truly a night for celebration last Thursday when Bloomingdale's hosted the launch of Park Avenue Potluck Celebrations, the latest cookbook written by The Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC).   More than just a cookbook, the stylish go-to guide provides entertaining ideas, delicious recipes, party planning tips and personal anecdotes from some of New York's most celebrated hostesses.

Recipes for the book have been culled from the Society's many volunteers, who have generously shared old family recipes and their personal entertaining signature dishes. The book is beautifully organized with recipes categorized by season and accompanied by beautiful photos shot in Society members homes in Manhattan and the Hamptons. Acclaimed food writer and contributing New York Times columnist, Florence Fabricant edits as well as contributes to the book.

The book is a must have for every hostess-with-the-mostess (and those of us who aspire to be!) and a wonderful gift for friends. Most important, it benefits Sloan-Kettering, the nation's leading center for the research and treatment of cancer.

I wish I had made it to the party - we were out of town. Have we met before? I love your website!
