ANKASA-OUTDOORS

I couldn't resist. It may look like I'm pushing the envelope a little, featuring these gorgeous water resistant pillows from Ankasa in the throws of winter, but I discovered them on a recent trip to their Manhattan store and knew they would be the perfect accessory on a porch or poolside chair this summer. Anaska, known for their delicate embroidery and fashion forward home design lines, created a modern collection of duck cloth pillows in a variety of bold, graphic prints with luxurious finishes. Inspired by chic resort locals like Punta Cana, Amalfi and Naples, these pretty pillows are sure to lend a vibrant and sophisticated vibe to any outdoor area-just as soon as the snow clears.

From their groovy Flower Power line-in full bloom.

Pool side chic

Bold ikat prints pack plenty of punch from Punta Cana.

From the Naples line, delicate girasole.

 Tiger beat.

 Where's my Southside?

Bold and graphic sea motifs are fashion forward.

Embroidered coral from the Cape Cod line.

Sophisticated ombre and embroidery from the Amalfi collection.

Remember-today is the last day to sign up for my first ever give away-a beautiful collection of Hampton's inspired tabletop books: Weekend Utopia, Modern Living in the Hamptons, Houses of the Hamptons, Michael Smith, Houses and Barefoot Contessa, Back to Basics. See the post http://hamptonhostess.blogspot.com/2010/02/its-my-first-time.html  for more details on the books. Just drop me a comment and tell me about your favorite post or something you would like to see featured. Remember to include your email address and post by 11 pm, Tuesday night. Three winners will be announced on Wednesday!

The ranges of outdoor fabrics have become so beautiful in recent years. What a difference from the limited selection of years ago. Great finds!
Best,
Stephanie

These are gorgeous-it is amazing what they are doing with outdoor fabrics these days. My garden is going to need some TLC like these after this terrible winter.
