WHATS OLD IS NEW AGAIN

The American blue jean has been a wardrobe staple and status symbol for decades. Who can forget the iconic images of the Marlboro Man and Brooke Shields in her infamous Calvin's?  Today, just go into any clothing store and you will be faced with a dizzying array of jean styles and washes-do you want a dark bookleg, skinny distressed or boyfriend vintage wash?  I usually settle for a no fat latte and vow to come back another day. Of course, I owe a dept of gratitude to the genius who thought to put a touch of lycra in jeans and silently thank him or her every time I slip on a pair.

This spring, demin seems to be everywhere, popping up in a variety of couture handbags and shoes. The look is fresh and fun and definitely easier to get into than those jeggings.
