HOLIDAY WINDOW DRESSING-BENDEL'S BALLET HOMAGE
Things are heating up in the city-not weather wise, but the tell tale ribbons and bows and chic little lights are beginning to pop up on Fifth Avenue. I've lived in the city forever and can tell you that I never grow tired of the stunning beauty of Fifth Avenue glowing in all its holiday splendor. Henri Bendel has the honor of being first of the big department stores to unveil their holiday windows. This year, the chic jewel box store's theme is a classic-The Nutcracker. Partnering with the New York City Ballet, the windows and gorgeous atrium displays are swathed in clothing designed by the NYCB's costume shop. Visit and dream of sugarplums ... and don't forget to bring home one of iconic brown and white striped boxes!

so fun, New York makes Christmas so magical, even for adults!
So beautiful. New York is a wonderland at Christmastime.
Thank you for sharing.

For me, the greatest place in the world is NYC for Christmas! I too, never grow old of looking at all the amazing displays, the Rock tree, the Lincoln Center tree, the streets decorated to a festive feel. This post has me itching to see it all again this year!
There really is nothing like Christmas in New York, is there? Can't wait to see more as the season continues!
What a fun post! I love all the details!
Already planning my trip in to see all the pretty windows, the stars down Fifth Avenue and the trees on Park. Perhaps I'll sneak in a little shopping, too!
