DESIGN POST

A utilitarian find for the design obsessed... from the U.S. Postal Service! What's so exciting about stamps?  Design geeks like me will love the new Pioneers of American Industrial Design, a new line of stamps due out this summer which honors 12 of the nation's most important and influential industrial designers. I can't wait to post  Russel Wright's "Lily" flatware  and Greta von Nessen's "Anywhere Lamp."

Can't wait for these stamps! Love these designs.
The typewriter brings back great memories. I know that computers are great, but there is nothing like the touch and clatter of a typewriter!
Have a great day, Barbara.

What a fun bit of punctuation on a thank you note to one of my design-obsessed friends!
Love them!

I was thinking the exact same thing as Barbara. Love typewriters. That camera too, and the lamp - oh okay, all of it.

These are just too cute! I am always into stamps as silly as it sounds, I just dont' love the forever stamp, and always looking for a pretty floral or something whimsical like this. Thanks for enlightning us!
