THE LOOK FOR LESS-NESTING TABLES

I wanted to use Oly Studio's dark shell Pauley Nesting tables for an installation recently but the $2,200 price tag was not in our budget. Crate and Barrel's Moreno nesting tables gave me the look for less. The Moreno pair have a similar dark pennshell top and circular shape and the $399 price is right on target. Have you found the "look for less" in your home decor? Tell me about it!

  2. Great find! I am liking the brass on the C&B ones, I'm a sucker for brass though. I recently discovered some Safavieh on Target's site - how crazy!

  5. Yes. I wanted a mirrored buffet for our dining room - we needed just a hint of glamour in there. Seemed every one I liked was way out of our price range. Stumbled on one at an estate sale for $300. Still not sure how we fit that thing into the back of our jeep but we did :)

  10. Great alternative, Barbara! I actually prefer the ones you got for your client. Horchow had a penshell coffee table a while back that I was dying over myself!

  12. Love your look for less. There is just something so gratifying about finding the look for less and somehow it just makes it more your own and exercises your won creativity. All the best...

  14. Oh yes, I wanted two 1940's chairs that were £4,000 each and just when I was about to bite, I found two almost the same in junk shop for $1000. What a find!
