We've just finished one of the warmest Januarys in history and for those of us who like to ski, the weather conditions in the Northeast have been more conducive to tanning rather than hitting the slopes. I'm a little disappointed, I was looking forward to skiing some fresh powder this season (not New England ice) but all is not lost. I hear there's a fresh coat of snow blanketing the slopes in Verbier, the chic Alpine village in southwestern Switzerland. In the mood for a quick run? Then grab your passport and follow me to Richard Branson's super-luxury ski chalet, The Lodge. There's room for everyone in the nine bedroom chalet and a dedicated staff ready to draw you a bath, mix you a cocktail or whip up a some raclette for the group. With both indoor and outdoor hot tubs, a private pool, mini ice rink and unlimited champagne I don't know if I would ever make it to the slopes!
Love the outdoor pool! Sleek and sophisticated
A game of pool and beautiful wine cellar
Warm and inviting
Indoor and spa area-gorgeous!
Breakfast with a view
Muted palette and luxurious linens
Great bunks for the kids
See you on the slopes!

Just wow. Growing up in Arizona, I'm not much of a ski girl but give me those views with the pool and the bedrooms with the fireplaces and I would be in heaven.
WOW. I have been skiing in Verbier...but not in such fancy, DEEluxe accommodations!!! We just got a bunch of snow in Mammoth. Thank goodness. I am headed up there this weekend.
Oh that look like a great place. I once stayed at a place like that with an outdoor pool in the depths of winter, I ran out through the snow and promptly slipped in full view of everyone. I had to pretend it didn't hurt but wanted to cry!
Wow, Barbara! Would love to be headed here! It has been over 70 degrees at the beach, and I understand y'all are having a warm winter.
This lodge is stunning to say the least.
Thank you for sharing.

This looks pretty good...grew up skiing Vail and Beaver Creek, but I think this beats all.
Beyond beautiful!! I am not a skier but I would happily curl up in front of that fireplace with a good book!! Love it! xo
OK...let's go! Since we're going through a renovation, the lack of snow has been a blessing. But, I'm with you on needing a ski trip. We're heading West in Feb - so luckily Colorado has been piling it up.
This house looks BEYOND fantastic. Richard Branson sure knows how to do things, doesn't he?!

OMG! It's so inviting. I'd love to sit by the fire at The Lodge, we are practically melting here.
Beautiful post, the pictures are fabulous.
Have a nice, cozy day.

Oh my goodness, this is an amazing lodge. I stumbled across your blog through my good friend Erica Cook (Moth Design) I look forward to more posts, glad I found you.
Goodness that looks amazing! Growing up in Miami I have actually never been skiing...but I could be DOWN for lots of Apres time! :) xoxo
