I'm featuring the quintessential beach bungalow today- 'A Wee Ly Mor' is a three story, shingle style cottage on beautiful Meadow Lane in Southampton. Built in the 1880's as a summer retreat for the F.H. Betts family, the home was purchased by the Fulton Cutting family in the 1930's and has been in the same family since. The understated "Summer cottage" has retained much of its past charm with original fireplace mantles, gorgeous period bathrooms, 10 bedrooms, and a large sleeping porch (no need for air conditioning when you're on the ocean!) The house has great bones but is certainly in need of a little TLC; a fresh coat of paint, some beautiful porch furniture and we could be ready for the summer season.

On this rainy morning, you have me itching for the Hamptons! What a remarkable home. Truly a quintessential Hamptons home and on the beach too. Perfection.
Oh this makes me want to head out today, rain or shine. This to me as you said is truly the quintessential beach house.....perfect!
Oh it's lovely -- exactly what one imagines a Hamptons beach home should be. I'd love to go for a long walk on the beach and then enjoy a glass of wine on the porch. Sounds like the perfect day.
The solarium is my favorite! So peaceful.
A beautiful home and in the Hamptons...perfection!
When can I move in?
Happy Wednesday,

What a beautiful bungalow! I think it represents the epitome of Hamptons. :)
Our dark Pacific Northwest winter weather is so dreary at this time of year. The thought of a visit to this beach home puts a smile on my face. I love the porch and path way to the ocean. Perfect!
I need a vacation! And that looks amazing! Somewhere back east! Love!
I love anything on Meadow Lane! Have a great weekend. xx
the perfect beach house...I can just imagine what it must be like on a stormy night up on that hill. How wonderful to get a glimpse inside this beautiful home.
