I joined the park tour they gave after breakfast and it was spectacular--trees and flowers were in full bloom, bursting with hot pinks, bold yellows and shades of purple. I veered off from the group when I saw the wisteria pergola with it's canopy bursting with the heavy lavender hued blooms. The long walkway that lead under the delicate canopy gave me the chance to enjoy the intoxicating blooms that are here so briefly. Sharing with you some images from yesterday and a little wisteria inspiration for your springtime day!

I love wisteria! And let's not forget the now famous wisteria tunnel in Kawachi Fuji garden in Kitakyushu, Japan. :)
Barbara-
This is one beautiful post. Such a good organization.
I love wisteria, and I would love the china too! I love lavender, and this is the best examples I can think of other than lavender itself. The flowers are just perfect.
Happy Thursday.

Simply divine.
Breakfast and a stroll through central park, it sounds like such a dreamy day.
We don't have much wisteria here in Phoenix (at least around my area) but everything else is in bloom. The desert is alive and colorful.
beautiful! thanks for sharing!
that is such a beautiful color... very inspiring indeed!
So beautiful! Love that you used it for a tablescape inspiration!
The wisteria are just gorgeous! I haven't seen any this year.
Hope you're having a lovely week :) xoxo
Gorgeous photos - we have a wisteria but it will be a while yet before its
in flower but each year it just gets better so I'm looking forward to it
flowering.

It's so pretty! I was there last spring but I was trying to get somewhere and frustrated that there was no easy way to get from west to east so I'm afraid I didn't properly appreciate it.
Perhaps this year. :)
So beautiful...what a gorgeous time of year to be there. Its been too long for me and I am craving a trip back for the day. I bet the air was intoxicatingly sweet!
I love these pictures! We just planted wisteria last year along the backside of a stone wall and hoping it'll drape all over the wall.
