AN INTIMATE BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

I attended a birthday celebration like no other this weekend-the setting, a country cottage nestled amongst beautiful specimen trees and fields of flowers...
What could be more more special, or memorable than an intimate birthday celebration housed in a fairytale cottage?
Dinner was served in the cottage-a rustic country table set for a stylish five course farm to table gourmet celebration
The classic canning glasses set with votives and used for cocktails compliment a trio of verdant floral arrangements wrapped in bark
Cocktails were served from an antique farm basin
The childrens table was set for dinner and a little arts and crafts on the terrace outside the cottage
A garland of photos starring the birthday boy
Cocktail hour featured a medely of artisinal cheese served on a round of maple wood
Warm bread served in a clay pot with strawberry infused sweet butter-so decadent!
The red and yellow beet salad with fresh goat cheese was a favorite
Terrain in Glen Mills, PA was the setting for this gorgeous birthday celebration.  Originally a local garden store called Styer's, its become the place to shop for specimen trees and plantings
and source a stylish canvas tent for summer dining
as well as shop for antique pagoda pavillions
and biergarten dining tables
their home and decor store is an amazing source for antique furniture and one of a kind gifts--and the restaurant, one of my most memorable meals--I will surely be back soon!

  8. Looks like a perfect party...food, decor, location. Great photos! I have never been to a Terrain, but we just moved back to CT and on our first night we went to the Shake Shack in Westport and we drove by the new Terrain. I can't wait to go check it out now that I've seen these great photos of the one in PA.

  14. What a fun setting for a party! I loved the bark wrapped vases especially. We have a biergarten table just like that one from our time in Germany...I am now inspired to paint some stripes down the middle - that looks great!
