SAG HARBOR COASTAL CHIC

I love a good surprise and thats exactly what you will find in this single story beach bungalow which looks rather innocuous on the outside but its interiors reveal the perfect beach chic. The home of designer Lisa Bowles of Roark Antiques in Sag Harbor, the three bedroom is a vision of calm with a muted color palette carried throughout that compliments the perfectly edited interiors. Filled with worn trestle tables, antique trunks and some classic mid-century finds, Bowles has filled her home with treasures from her travels to France and Belgium. This bungalow resonates a hip coastal style that is both soothing and timeless. Roarke is one of my favorite shops in the hamptons--you can shop the look on 1stdibs!

Shop the look--
 Marcel Breuer style chairs
 Pair of oak tables
 Pair of travertine lamps
 19th Century basket
 19th Century oak cabinet
 Bone Beads
Vase in the style of Giacometti

Love love love all the wood, especially when it looks so beach-worn. I've had a lot of luck creating a coastal vibe with the right wall art. Throw some baskets and that amazing travertine lamp, and you're golden.
