There are some homes that you are immediately drawn to; you can see yourself reading by the old stone fireplace on a cold winter day or having a cocktail by the hedge trimmed pool in August. This is such a house. Built in the late 1800's, this classic shingle-style home features beautiful wood paneled walls, leaded glass pocket doors and a ballroom-style great room with a ceiling frieze that makes me giddy. What's most appealing is that the home has retained all of its historic charm even after undergoing a meticulous renovation. With modern amenities like a state of the art gym and chic outdoor pavilion--I'm ready to unpack my bags and stay for a while.
