FRESH FINDS-CORINTHIA COLLECTION FROM SAMUEL AND SONS

 Tapes, tassles, fringes--the place I visit for all my decorative embellishments is Samuel & Sons. A recent visit there unearthed the Corinthia Collection, a new series of beautiful tapes and trims inspired by the architectural ornamentations of the Renaissance. The Paladio, Ogee and Greek Fret designs were in fluenced by classical columns, architectural plans and tile designs of the 16th century.  Reproduced in gorgeous linen and wool applique borders, the series is an updated classic-modern and bold in design and perfect for today's contemporary interiors.

 My favorite trim of the collection is the Greek Fretwork in 5" Green--anyone want to use this on their next project?

    I am crazy for these Samuel and Sons trims. That green Greek key is stunning enough to work a room around it. And, that is so the color of the year!!

    GORGEOUS!!I love that place..a store that I would love to have a sleepover in, I would spend all night touching and feeling and imagining all the ways to use all the scrumptious trims!! Love the Greek key and am actually in the market for a nice wide one, heading there on Wed. great choices Barbara!
