Blossoming cherry trees in Central Park and the Annual Macy's Flower Show-it's official, spring is finally here! This year's Flower Show, named The Painted Garden, was a South Asian inspired extravaganza featuring vibrant colors, ornate designs and gardens brimming with flowers and plants drenched in stunning jewel tones and spice market colors one would encounter in India.
The centerpiece of the show was a 10 foot tall floral draped elephant statue inspired by the elephants used in traditional Indian weddings.

How amazing is that? It's like the tournament of roses parade...only better because it's at Macy's!! :)
Barbara so artfully done! The floral designs and motifs are gorgeous!
