GRADUATION DAY-OFF SHE GOES!

I rarely post photos of my family but I'm making an exception today. My daughter CeCe graduated from high school yesterday and is off to college overseas in the fall.  "She's just across the pond, a plane ride away"--friends keep telling me, but its not just the physical distance, its the end of a chapter--our "have to have"  Frozen yogurt at Bloomingdales, one o'clock in the morning "chats", papers on Anna Karenina, boyfriends! and do your shoes need to be so high? She is fun, vivacious, smart--a beautiful person inside and out and I'm so incredibly proud of her!

Graduation ceremony under the big tent
My youngest Camille, tries on her sister's graduation hat for size-no so fast!
Graduation lunch was served at Yankee Stadium. Push carts with hot dogs and popcorn awaited famished guests as we entered the stadium and a buffet lunch was served overlooking the field. My son Carter and CeCe pose near the field.

There she goes!

What a lucky girl to be going to school abroad - it will certainly be fun to visit her for Parent's Weekend!

Gorgeous daughter Barbara! You must be so proud and how exciting for her to be going abroad!

Looks like it was a beautiful day...graduation is so bittersweet, on one hand so wonderful to see them accomplish that goal but then they are so grown up and there's no going back...enjoy every moment! (and lucky you to still have a little one)!

Hi Barbara,

Time really does fly by doesn't it? Congratulations to your daughter and to YOU for raising such a beautiful and successful daughter. The college time is lots of fun and she will be back home (visiting) before you know it. My youngest goes graduates from UW tomorrow. She's off for training to start an internship at one of the big four accounting firms here in WA state. Tonight is our Grad party and I shouldn't be typing this note as I've got 45 of our closest friends coming to celebrate :)

Congratulations and enjoy the process. You've got lots to look forward to.
