PUT THE LIME IN THE COCONUT

A gorgeous summer bouquet is the ultimate indulgence-so fragrant and delicate! My summer staple purple hydrangeas, are bursting with color all summer long, but once cut their beauty lasts just a few days. I needed flowers for my Showhouse room but the constant upkeep and cost of fresh flowers had me heading to the super chic Penningtons in Southampton, my go to shop for fabulous exotic plants and florals.
A row of mini coconut plants immediately caught my eye. Tropical and unusual (at least for the Hamptons), I found out that a weekly soak would keep my coconut plant content for 6 weeks. We are on week 7 and still both blissfully happy!

Beautiful Barbara, I also love succulents for their hardiness, they will grow like crazy though; need to re-pot some right now. So many unique varieties!

Beautiful, Barbara! I think succulents are beautiful, although I have just a few, and they grow like crazy.
Happy Wednesday.
