A LITTLE DIRT

Antique Garden Tray from Etsy
I plan on working in the garden this weekend. I've put off the pruning and general upkeep for quite some time and my poor garden is paying the price-a little overgrown and little unloved, a few hours in the dirt should do my garden and hopefully me some good.

But before I start, its always nice to be properly suited for the job.  A floral pair of Hunter boots and rosy garden gloves will bring out the English gardener in me.  Or perhaps some funky wellies and paisley gauntlet gloves will inspire me to plant some colorful annuals.  Digging in dirt has never looked so good!

I love these mod paisley boots and gauntlet gloves from Woman's Work.

For the classic gardener, rose clogs from the British Horticultural Society and Laura Ashley garden gloves.

Classic Hunter botanical inspired boots and monogrammed gauntlet gloves from Red Envelope are really smart.

Funky Koi wellies and no nonsense Bog gloves are a fun modern look.
