SUBLIME MADISON MANSION

I visited the new Ralph Lauren Women's store yesterday and am still recovering from the luxurious abundance of silk and cashmere. The store is simply breathtaking--a halcyon oasis of glamour and luxury. Of course, I was expecting this gorgeous new Beaux Arts inspired Madison Avenue mansion to be stunning--after all it's the House of Ralph. Nevertheless, I was surprised and impressed by the light and airy interiors that are such a departure from the "lets go hunting in Bedminster" look of the Mansion across the street.  A beautiful iron staircase reminiscent of the Galleries Lafayette famous Art Noveau masterpiece winds up the creamy marble stairs.  Designed by in house staffer Alfredo Paredes, the interiors are a luxurious palette of soft Ralph whites and creams with opulent moldings, crystal chandeliers and soft white carpets.  Lightly gilded zebra benches and cozy linen and cashmere chairs are strategically situated for optimal oggling.  All the better to obsess over the smartly chignoned mannequins in this falls smartest looks. My advice-visit!  Look!  Love it!
The first floor features the stores new fine jewelry collection. I love the Equestrian Stirrup Pendants!

New Heiress bedding collection-now we can all be an Heiress for the night!

Oooo I can't wait to visit - my bf works for Ralph so I've heard all about it! Maybe I can have him give a blogger tour of the offices, which are also of course, beautiful!
