HOLIDAY DINING FOR TWO OR TWELVE

"Absolutely, bring your friend," I said to my cousin the day before Thanksgiving.  I nervously looked over my climbing guest list. With very limited space (NYC apartment) and lots of family and friends, I wasn't sure if people would be eating in the tub by the time Thanksgiving rolled around.  That was years ago, and while I'm a firm believer in the "more is merrier" adage, there is now a chic alternative to the lowly metal folding table. Italian design house Ozzio has developed a gorgeous console table that features a telescopic mechanism and three extension leaves which allows the console to convert to dining for 12 in moments.  The aluminum table comes in glossy black, white and a smart wood and metal finish. Chic and stylish design-I'll take one for the holidays!

That is a neat table - it's about time we evolved beyond the standard folding table.

I had the same thing happen to me last year when my sis-in-law invited 6 more family members to my house a week before Thanksgiving. Yikes! It all worked out great, but that table would have made my life so much easier!

Very chic tables. Taking note for when we move to the U.K. from a 4300 sq. ft. home to a 900 sq.ft. These are perfect. You are always the perfect hostess!

Brilliant design; I would have loved to have had one of these 15 years ago! Now I am grateful to have a couple of antique dropleafs to pull into dining service if need be.

Great solution! This is definitely more stylish than the old folding tables.
