It snowed last night. Again. I've decided that I wouldn't mind all the snow if I had a little ski chalet on the side of a mountain. Rustic, luxurious, perfect for a weekend getaway. Woosh.....
Hello HH -- boy, everyone is writing about get aways today! In my post I admit to the fact that I enjoy stormy weather! I've been visiting your blog for awhile and I wanted to let you know that I like your style! I am passing to you "The Stylish Blog Award". Please stop by Splendid Market to pick up (cut and paste!) your award and to learn the rules which come with it. Also, I've added you to my blog roll, I know my readers will enjoy your witty posts! Congratulations.
No kidding. I mean, I like snow....but this is getting ridiculous. I'd enjoy it a lot more if a sleigh was picking me up tonight for a lovely fondue getaway at a chalet.
Alas....it's supposed to get worse next week! xo Elizabeth
We had record snowfalls in Viginia last year and this year only a few inches here and there...and some nasty ice! But, I'm with you, I'd love some snow, sit by the fire and take in a fabulous rustic retreat!
Oh i have my son's original baby sheep skin rug on a gorgeous 1950's replica white leather e-chair from Little Nest, complete with walnut & white leather ottoman, huge indulgence but he LOVES it. Like a mini bachelor pad for a 7y.o. boy. Love Posie
Snowing yet again, and everything is covered. If you were on the back roads out here you would think you were upstate! The Harbor and the Bay is frozen. I wonder if there will be ice boating on Mecox this weekend.
Rustic and luxurious - yep I could do that :)
ReplyDeleteNow that is a chalet! Love the pops of red and vermillion throughout.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend, Barbara.

I love it, but these days, I think I would enjoy the snow most from a villa in the Caribbean! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteIf I could wave my magic wand and turn my home into an Alpine retreat, I think I could hndle more of this snow. Happy weekend, Barbara!
