COCKTAILS WITH TRADITIONAL HOME

Christina Murphy-Blackjack Queen!
I had the pleasure of attending Traditional Home's cocktail party celebrating the 10 New Trad Designers of 2012. What a fun evening!  The room was packed to the gills with fabulous design talent and lots of well wishers and I couldn't resist trying my luck at the blackjack table.  I had the pleasure of sitting next to one of the New Trad Designers, Christina Murphy, who seemed to be having a big dose of beginners luck, closely followed by Traditional Homes publisher Beth Brenner. Of course, it was all in fun, and don't we all play better when the money isn't real? I was admiring the cleverly designed playing cards when I realized that the deck featured both Brenner and Murphy, as well as other favorite designers of the magazine. Perhaps I needed to have my own playing card too--just for a bit of luck!
