I found the perfect setting to chill out during this summer heat wave- it's LA based designer Windsor Smith's fun yet nostalgic cabana installation at Kravet's New York showroom. The retro inspired room had me wistful for a martini and a classic old movie.
Who can resist Windsors playful use of her bold Archipelagos print for a little summer seating?
Cosy up to the glossy white bar, flanked by classic 60's fretwork panels and two large white cabinets. The dark chocolate walls and kitchy astro turf flooring provides a nice contrast.
Large, comfortable upholstered seating is offset by the light, sunny color palette. The vintage black and white camp photographs are fun addition!

Such a lively array of fabrics and furnishings. Very pretty.
I'm sure the air conditioning adds to the "cool" cabana. :-) I personally love to go to movies when its sizzling.
