GARDEN PLANTERS FROM MECOX GARDENS

One of my favorite stores in Southampton is Mecox Gardens. A cluster of beachy cottages house an electic collection of furniture, antiques and art work in pretty vignettes. Walk into a stylish friends home and comment on a cocktail table or bench and it probably came from Mecox Gardens. Outside, Provence inspired gardens ramble among the wicker outdoor furniture and antique French zinc tables. Here gardening is an art form. Walk among the dozens of antique and re-edition planters filled with lavender, rosemary and privet. My favorites include the Brent Wood planter made from Belgium brickmaker pallets, the vintage tulip pedestal planters with a verdigris finish and the French Olive jar planters in palette of blues and greens.
