PERFECTLY CAPABLE

From the runway of Chanel to morning drop off at school, it's clear that the cape is making a big comeback this fall.  I love the chic, versatile topper because it looks smart and polished, especially as a casual look with dark leggings and ballet flats. It really is the perfect transitional piece! I have my eye on the Sophie plaid cape by Kate Spade and Rachel Zoe's military inspired camel knit cape. Will you be wearing a cape this fall?

I love how a cape can you look totally chic and pulled together even though you may have been scrambling to get out the door. No capes for me this year in Dubai - just too darn hot. (boo!)

I also loooove capes, really want the Rachel Zoe one which was sold out when I checked. I do have 2 that I have owned for years and years but both are very high quality and look as good as the day I bought them, I use them every season whether they are "in style" or not because to me, they are timeless and classic. Stunning choices!

I think the Burberry is my favorite. I haven't bought one yet, but think one may have to land in my closet, soon!

Gorgeous...Just wish I was taller. So much prettier on the tall thin girls.

So pretty! I need to drop 20 lbs before wearing these so I can look less like a sack of veggies!

I do love this. I also like the fact it gives you room to move around and keep you warm. I love the black and white one. A pair of boots and yes, looking good!

I have been wanting to try a cape. There are more options out there now, so maybe I should make the jump.
