Just in time for summer, the Brooklyn based design firm Uhuru has produced a fabulous line of tables and chairs crafted from reclaimed wood taken from the remains of the iconic Coney Island boardwalk. My favorite piece is the sleek and wavey chaise, a slender layer of beautifully colored wood slats which are cleverly supported by thin metal tubes resembling the old roller coaster support structure. Wouldn't it be fun to take a ride on this chaise this summer?
