FELIZ NAVIDAD

A belated Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!  I hope you had a wonderful Holiday weekend with your family and friends.  We travelled to Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic for the Holiday and with sketchy internet service and the diversion of gorgeous weather and free flowing rum punch cocktails, I took the weekend off from blogland!  If you've never been to the Dominican Republic, I highly recommend adding the island to your "must visit" list.  Three ranked golf courses, a stunning beach and tons of tennis courts will keep you busy during the day if you're the sporty type, or if you are like me, a good novel and a beach chair by the water and I'm in heaven!

On Friday night we visited the pretty town of Altos de Chavon where they host a fun Christmas Eve party with a Latin band and Santa and his "helpers"-very festively dressed!

Before I run, I wanted to share the complete Home for the Holidays virtual Dinner Party and thank each of the fantastic contributors for making our dinner such a success!

If you haven't visited our party please click on the link and stay a while!

Welcome back! We love, as you know Casa De Campo....isn't it amazing? So much to do and how fabulous is that marina and all the yummy restaurants! Altos de Chevon is also an incredible place and we enjoyed going there to walk around and I remember one or two great restaurants there too...so glad you enjoyed!
