BEHIND THE PRIVET: JONATHAN ADLER AND SIMON DOONAN IN SHELTER ISLAND
Feeling groovy, feeling fine-- loving the new Shelter Island home of designer Jonathan Adler and Barney's executive Simon Doonan. The just completed three bedroom single story home includes an indoor firepit, large open living room with commanding water views, requisite retro Palm Beach style decor and a stunning pool pavillion. Architects Lisa Gray and Alan Organschi of the Connecticut firm Gray Organschi Architecture, helped the duo envision their dream home. The full story accompanied by pages of home photos will be featured in July's Architectual Digest.

Shelter Island has certainly changed a lot since my husband's family had a summer home there thirty years ago.
Wow. What a lot of color. Definitely island style.
