SETTING THE TABLE FOR THANKSGIVING

It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving is just a week away! One of my favorite holidays, I like to set a table that plays off an autumnal motif with a mix of traditional pieces and more casual design elements for a fresh, modern table. This year I'm keeping my table soft and sophisticated with a warm neutral palette and touches of shiny silver.

The faux bone rimmed plates from Ralph Lauren are my favorite fall tabletop accessory; a sophisticated addition to your holiday table.

Add a note of whimsy to your table with a pair of pewter pheasants from The Enchanted Home.

You can't go wrong with luxurious linen napkins and placemats in warm neutrals.

Even if you haven't inherited the family silver, Anthropologie's rediscovered flatware gives you that traditional look.

A trio of horn candlestick holders are warm and inviting.

What could be more autumnal than twig and leaf serving pieces?

How do you like to entertain at Thanksgiving?

Your neutral with silver table is going to look very chic. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving but I'm thinking about my Christmas table.

Lovely colours for sure! Autumnal setting is something I miss since we have been under snow for weeks now... Probably that is why Canada has thanks giving earlier((:
Enjoy! Hugs z

Hi Barbara...your table is going to be GORGEOUS! Thanks for the pheasant mention...they are even prettier in person and make a wonderful gift. I have them and bring them out every Thanksgiving but this year we are off to my sisters beach house so I get to play "guest" woo hoo! I do however LOVE setting a Thanksgiving table.... the bone rimmed plates are stunning!
